Ira was a veteran of the US Army, and member of the Berea Masonic Lodge.Ira is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marie Kimbrell Thomas, his children: Rick (Pam) Thomas and Teresa (Eddie) Yeary all of Berea, his grandchildren: Corey Thomas, Tracey Thomas, and David (Jessica) Yeary, and his greatgrandchildren: Avery and August Wolfenbarger, and Ben and Jack Yeary.He is also survived by his siblings: Edith Pena, James Edward Thomas, Ronnie (Joyce) Thomas, Mary Guilfoyle, Shirley Allen, Kathy (Don) Reynolds, Gerald (Sandy) Thomas, Joyce Thomas, Connie Thomas, and Rachel Thomas.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Dec. 26, 2018 at 1 pm at Lakes Funeral Home Berea with Rev.
