Terrace Nursing and Rehab Center in Berea. Ira was born in Rockcastle County to the late Harvey C. Thomas and Fairy McHone Thomas.Ira was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, a retired Bluegrass Army Depot employee, a farmer and knife trader. Ira was a veteran of the US Army, and member of the Berea Masonic Lodge.Ira is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marie Kimbrell Thomas, his children: Rick (Pam) Thomas and Teresa (Eddie) Yeary all of Berea, his grandchildren: Corey Thomas, Tracey Thomas, and David (Jessica) Yeary, and his greatgrandchildren: Avery and August Wolfenbarger, and Ben and Jack Yeary.He is also survived by his siblings: Edith Pena, James Edward Thomas, Ronnie (Joyce) Thomas, Mary Guilfoyle, Shirley Allen, Kathy (Don) Reynolds, Gerald (Sandy) Thomas, Joyce Thomas, Connie Thomas, and Rachel Thomas.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Dec. 26, 2018 at 1 pm at Lakes Funeral Home Berea with Rev. Kenny Davis officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 am Wednesday. Masonic Rites will take place at 10 am Wednesday.Pallbearers will be Corey Thomas, David Yeary, Ronnie Thomas, Gerald Thomas, Jim Rose, and Jerry Little. Stephen was born in Madison County to the late David Grant and Ruby Lee Newman.He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and retiree of Sherwin Williams. He belonged to the American Legion and was a Kentucky Colonel.In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Linda Bookout, Phyllis Tripp and Donna VanWinkle.He is survived by his wife Sharon Newman; two daughters, Renee Newman Tucker and her husband David, Stephanie Newman Smith and her husband Adam; his siblings, David Newman, Delbert (Lisa) Newman, Ronnie Newman, Jerry (Gina) Newman, Vivian King, Norma (Ralph) Jackson, and Terri (Wayne) Anglin; five grandchildren, Kennedy Reynolds, Logan Tucker, Austin Smith, Cadence Reynolds, and Kaylie Tucker; and his constant companion, his dog B.J.Funeral services will be 1pm, Friday, December 7, 2018 at Lakes Funeral Home Berea. Vernon died suddenly Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital Berea. Born in Richmond he lived in the Berea area all his life.Brandon was a loving father, member of the Baptist faith, an auto body professional at Sander’s Collision, a huge sports fan and a member of the Big Blue Nation. Brandon also loved his family, classic cars, and motorcycles.Survivors include his son, Westyn Kyle Lamb; his father, Dean Lamb (Debbie) and mother, Lisa Azbill (Ronnie); siblings, Christopher and Joshua Lamb; step-siblings, Joshua Azbill, Christy Croucher, Heather Azbill, Timothy Collins, Mindy Divine, Jessica Pinson; grandparents Glyndon and Brenda Anglin, Chester and Corina Azbill.
